To celebrate the unveiling of Selena’s star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, House of Blues Chicago welcomes The Selena Experience! performing a full set of Selena favorites while expanding upon her last “Live” album, creating a memorable, “live show that resurrects the legend of Selena and puts the audience face to face with the music and her spirit.” The evening opens with a dance lesson by Latin Street Music & Dancing and continues after with the Future Rootz DJs to keep the party going with their global roots, tropical bass and Latin house sounds.

To start the night, Latin Street Music and Dancing will be offering dance lessons featuring bachata and cumbia. These professionals are part of one of the largest Latin entertainment companies in the United States as well as being home to Grammy winning musicians and Latin dance world champions.

The Selena Experience, hailing from New York, is led by Genessa Escobar, who has previously toured the nation as member of the all-girl pop group 3rd Faze. Genessa has fronted many popular New York cover bands and appeared on American Idol and It's Showtime at the Apollo.

In addition to the music and the dancing, there will also be a Selena look-alike contest! The contest is your chance to win FREE concert tickets, dinner on us at our Restaurant & Bar as well as a HOB Swag Bag. Make sure to bring your best Selena get-up for a chance to win. 

Doors @ 9PM. Performance begins at 10PM. This show is for AGES 17 AND OLDER. Valid Photo ID is required for age restricted shows. Forms of valid ID are current and non-expired Driver's License, State ID or Passport. House of Blues Chicago is a standing room only venue, all tickets are General Admission unless otherwise stated.
